Specialist Music classes for Kinder and Childcare
Specialist Music classes are provided across Melbourne. These classes involve active music making and are designed to meet the
Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework outcomes.
Junior Primary Instrumental Program (JPIP)
JPIP classes are held after school. These involve singing and playing the ukulele using the Kodaly approach to Music literacy and the
Black Belt Ukulele program (Susie Davies-Splitter and Phil Splitter).
Dance, improvisation, composition and ensemble skills are also developed.
Individual and Group Ukulele Music lessons
Individual and group ukulele lessons are provided by arrangement and are programmed to the individual needs of the student.
Early Years Classes Hawthorn
Babies and Toddlers (10m- 36m) classes include singing, rhymes, movement, puppets, playing percussion instruments, music stories and songs with parachute. Older siblings welcome to attend.
Ukulele & Percussion (3-5 yrs) classes build upon previous knowledge and provides experiences in ukulele playing, percussion ensemble, reading and writing music notation, song composition, dance and orchestral instruments.
